Created and funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and operated nationwide by the National Older Worker Career Center (NOWCC), the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program matches experienced workers with government agencies fulfilling environmental mandates.
A Unique Model

SEE Program participants are assigned to government agencies, but are enrolled through grants administered by six non-profit organizations. This public-private partnership benefits both participants and agencies.

Experienced workers can choose from thousands of government-sponsored positions, without taking civil service exams. They receive personal attention from NOWCC, as well as flexible work arrangements and excellent health insurance.

Agencies are able to fill support needs quickly and cost-effectively. Because NOWCC handles recruitment, payroll, and human resources, government can access the precise skills needed for a project, without committing to internally staffing a new position.
A Diverse Program

SEE Program positions range from clerical to scientific, and are located nationwide, from offices in downtown Washington, DC to field studies in the mountains of Colorado.
